Pepper

Pepper

Pepper is one of the heat-loving plants group. Optimal development depends partly on environmental factors such as temperature, light intensity, soil and air humidity.

The optimal development temperature of pepper is 18-26 ºC.  Pepper needs more heat in the early circuits. It develops well when the soil moisture is excessive, nutrients are sufficient and the air temperature is 24-26 ºC. The improvement is good when the daytime temperature is 21-26 ºC and the night temperature is 15-17 ºC. When the daytime temperature is 32-35 ºC and the night temperature is below 15 ºC, plant growth slows down, fertilization is disrupted.

Above 32 ºC during the day, the fruit binding of pepper decreases. Flower shedding occurs at 32-35 ºC. There is no fertilization above 38 ºC. The optimum air humidity in pepper cultivation is 60-70%.
