Eggplant
Eggplant is a warm climate vegetable. At -1 ºC, the plant loses its life. A 6-month vegetation period is needed for good cultivation. The optimum temperature request is 25-30 ºC. A temperature of 15-20 ºC at night is suitable. When the night temperature drops below 15 ºC, problems arise in fruit binding. Plant development weakens, discoloration can be seen on fruits. Below 15 ºC, above 40 ºC, the root does not develop and the intake of nutrients decreases. Below 8 ºC, growth and flower production completely stop. The optimal temperature for fruit yield is 22 ºC.
It develops well if the air humidity (at a temperature of 25 ºC) is 55-60% and the soil humidity is 60-70%.
