Cucumber

Cucumber, with the name used by the people, cucumber, is a summer and cuddling vegetable from the pumpkin family. It is grown in the open field in summer. In the winter months, it is grown under cover. In our country, 60 – 70% of cucumber production is carried out in the open field.

The homeland of the cucumber plant is India. It is known that it has been cultivated in India for 5000 years. From there, it spread to China, Western Asia, North Africa and Southern Europe.
